Sami Salo will not play in Game 3 through due to a lower body injury. Ossi Vaananen will take his spot.
Pavol Demitra is questionable (and I actually think doubtful) for Game 3. Taylor Pyatt was back in practice and will probably take Demitra's spot in the lineup.
Brian Rafalski and Kris Draper are out for tonight.
Markus Naslund officially retired from the NHL. Since he signed his contract just before turning 35, the Rangers get his $4 million off of their cap.
According to the dispatch, Pierre McGuire and Chuck Fletcher are the frontrunners for the GM job in Minnesota.
The Flyers are reportedly interested in Ray Emery. It would continue their tradition of a question mark goaltender with high upside. It would also continue their tradition of nutty goaltenders, following in Ron Hextall's footsteps. Perfect fit!
Both the Lightning and the Isles had their owners and GMs in attendance to watch Matt Duchene Friday. Unfortunately, he was held pointless. This was according to Islanders Point Blank
Petr Sykora is playing a little better now, which will make it tough for Satan to get back into the lineup.
Where is Evgeni Malkin? While Crosby and Ovechkin put on a clinic, Malkin is playing like a mere mortal.
