TSN's reporting of the draft combine, found here, indicates that both Brayden Schenn and John Tavares may be suffering from upper body/shoulder injuries . They skipped out on all of the upper body tests.
Ryan Ellis was excused from the combine, for unknown reasons.
The Panthers have signed undrafted free agent goalie Alexander Salak to an ELC. The 22-year-old was solid in the Finnish League last season and has a shot at becoming the backup, as Markstrom is still a couple of years away.
The Hurricanes have signed prospect Chris Terry to a ELC. He is two to three years away from the NHL and one of the better offensive prospects in their system. Ranked 69 on my Prospects List. He was also OHL's Captain of the Year and Humanitarian of the Year.
