Dallas adds Ryder, Souray, Fiddler, Gordon, Dowell and Dvorak

Fantasy Impact: Lots of changes in Dallas, as they have signed Michael Ryder, Vern Fiddler, Boyd Gordon, Jake Dowell, Radek Dvorak, Adam Pardy, and Sheldon Souray.
The Stars get: The only players of fantasy significance here are Souray and Ryder. In Souray, they get a top PP quarterback who was banished to the minors last season thanks to his bloated salary. In Ryder, they have added a solid 20-goal scorer.
Fantasy Players Impacted: This puts Souray back on the fantasy hockey map. If he plays 70 games, he should be good for 40 points. His presence on the back end helps Alex Goligoski dramatically. Ryder’s value remains the same – second line in Dallas or second line in Boston. Similar points to expect.
Potential lineup:
Morrow-Benn-Eriksson
Ott-Ribeiro-Ryder
Burish-Fiddler-Dvorak
Peterson-Dowell-Wandell
Barch
Souray-Goligoski
Robidas-Daley
Grossman-Fistric
Pardy
Fantasy Players this helps, in order:
1. Souray
2. Big Gap
3. Goligoski
Fantasy Players this hurts, in order:
1. Stephane Robidas
2. Scott Glennie – wouldn’t have made the team anyway, but still…
