Dave Bolland Signs with Florida

Fantasy Impact: The Florida Panthers have signed center Dave Bolland to a five-year deal worth $27.5 million (!)
The Panthers get: An injury-prone playoff stud who puts up modest numbers during the regular season, but is best known for his checking skills. Bolland steps up his game in the postseason, but as a fantasy player, he’s a 60-game, 30-point guy.
Fantasy Players Impacted: Bolland’s arrival will make this team difficult for Drew Shore to make. And Brandon Pirri will need to ply his trade on the wing. The Panthers have Aleksander Barkov, Nick Bjugstad and David Bolland up the middle. Bolland upgrades the third line tremendously, but what does that mean in fantasy hockey? A better plus/minus on that line and a bump from 30-point wingers to 35-point wingers? Really not much.
