Detroit Red Wings Acquire Erik Cole

Fantasy Impact: The Detroit Red Wings have acquired winger Erik Cole from the Dallas Stars in exchange for prospects Mattias Janmark, Mattias Backman and a second-round draft pick. A conditional third goes to Detroit.
Detroit gets: rid of all players named ‘Mattias’ in the system? Actually, Erik Cole is having a wonderful rebound season. Thanks to Dallas adding to their depth in the offseason, Cole has had a talented center to play with (and lately he’s been on a line with Jason Spezza and Jamie Benn) – 16 of his points this year have been while playing with Spezza. His current pace is for 24 goals and 44 points. (You can see the full breakdown of Cole’s current pace and who helped him get his points, by clicking on his name above)
