Top Budget Plays

Centers

Mark Letestu $2,800 –Yes we are at the final few Saturdays which means everyone seemingly knows the values anyway or do they? At this point, there are always a few aces up my sleeve and though we considered Riley Nash and Jacob Josefson as possibilities, Letestu was a bit more attractive. It is almost to the point where you hope Letestu is used simply because Columbus is on the back end of a back to back where they may need their bottom six a bit more than usual. Did we mention this game was against St. Louis? Exactly!

Tyler Seguin $8,900–Sometimes we lose sight of the fact that Seguin is only 22 years old. Think about that for a second then remember he has over a point a game for Dallas this year with 90-100 point upside. He has points in his last four games and five of the last six. The center is on his way back to being the 4.5 to 5.5 point a game guy for DraftKings owners. It is the same as it ever was. Our values will allow you to easily spend up for him so do not hold back!

Wingers

Vladimir Tarasenko $7,000 –You have to figure that Tarasenko is slowly rounding into form again as he went through a little bit of a slump. Hey these things are expected over the course of an 82 game schedule. The forward is a threat from anywhere on the ice and has to be respected at all times. Just think he is only 23 and this type of breakout season is far from a fluke. This Blues team gets a tired Columbus squad. A young horse like Tarasenko might run wild on the Blue Jackets. After all, he has done this before. His power play prowess at home is also something to take note.

Defensemen

Erik Karlsson $8,500 –This is my weekly sermon to play Karlsson, play Karlsson, and play Karlsson! The defenseman has five points in three games against Toronto and really could have had more. Ottawa is going to have to score quite a few goals and no one can cover the Swede. Let's be honest! There is going to be a lot of people clamoring to get on the Karlsson Train. Do not be surprised if his ownership rates even in GPP's are just at an incredible level. There is no reason why he should not be owned in cash games.

Goalie

Devan Dubnyk $8,700 –The back to back may scare some off so if you are, you may even consider Jonathan Quick in a hedge of sorts. If Dubnyk does play, that would be his 34th consecutive game. That is just an incredible number and yet the goalie does not seemingly tire. It is stunning and impressive to watch. Again, Los Angeles is pushing hard and has won the first three games of their road trip, including wins on Long Island and Manhattan. That is very difficult to say the least. Remember the hedge just in case Dubnyk does not play for whatever reason err rest.
