Chris Kunitz missed last night's contest with his stomach/abdominal injury. No word on if he will play in Game 5.

Patrick Eaves, in the lineup for Dean McAmmond, saw some time with Spezza and Heatley. Alfredsson played on a line with Fisher and Schaefer. I thought Fisher had an incredible game and I didn't think Alfredsson was too bad either, but I didn't think they were on the same page.

Denis Arkhipov has had enough of North America after returning for one year. He signed a deal with Ak Bars Kazan.

Timo Helbling, a prospect defenseman for Buffalo, signed to play in Switzerland next season.

The Flyers traded Matt Ellison to the Preds for future considerations. He is of no fantasy significance…but I'm not being very picky about NHL news these days…

Even though an offer for the Columbus GM job was apparently forthcoming, Bob Murray has withdrawn his name from consideration. Back to square one for the Jackets! Edmonton assistant GM Scott Howson now has the inside track, as well as interim GM Jim Clark.
