DFS Thursday: Markstrom and the Flames to Rebound

We are looking at what could be the last two-game slate of the season on tap for Thursday. We know the Carolina-New York series will make it to the weekend, but an Edmonton win tonight will put a dagger to the multi-game DFS slates. If Calgary were to win and extend the series, I'd expect another two game slate for Saturday.
If you still have the itch for DFS once we are down to one game per night, there are contests for that too On DraftKings they are called "Showdown" and have a different format and slightly different scoring than what we're used to. We'll cross that bridge when we get there but for now, let's tackle this Thursday slate.

Team to Stack:
Calgary – Edmonton can't win the "Battle of Alberta" this soon, can they? Perhaps picking with my heart in the hopes this series continues on for at least another game, I'm rolling with the Flames and the belief their top line can put on a show at home. Johnny Gaudreau ($7,100) in particular has 19 shots on goal this series yet hasn't scored. For a player of his caliber that is simply bad luck and one has to go in sooner than later. When it does, look for Elias Lindholm ($6,500) and Matthew Tkachuk ($6,500) to likely be involved and get on the scoresheet as well.
Other Targets:
So far this playoffs the trick with the Hurricanes has been they win at home (6-0) and they lose on the road (0-5). So let me check my notes here, oh yes, they are home tonight so they will win. Every forward on the team outside of Sebastion Aho ($5,900) is $4,700 or less so you should be able to fit any your heart desires. For me, that'll be Teuvo Teravainen ($4,100) and Andrei Svechnikov ($4,700) in addition to Aho.
Goalie Pick:
Jacob Markstrom ($7,500) – Markstrom has flat-out not played very well at all in this series. But if we're stacking Calgary we're hoping Markstrom can at least be good enough to get the win and he should see enough shot volume to rack up a nice score if he can find any sort of form closer to what he had against Dallas or in the regular season.
Be sure to double check your lineups before lock for any last-minute scratches or goalie changes.
