Consistency is one of the more overlooked metrics in fantasy hockey. While point totals are a convenient way to measure a player's performance at season's end, players who produce consistently provide more value on a week-to-week basis than notoriously streaky performers.

With this in mind, here are the Top 10 most consistent fantasy producers in the league right now.

10.   Nikita Kucherov, RW, Tampa Bay Lightning

Kuch has piled up 74 points (25 goals, 49 assists) in just 45 games, once again sitting among the league's scoring leaders. That elite production has come with strong night-to-night reliability, as the silky-smooth sniper has recorded points in 76.6% of his appearances so far and multi-point games in more than half of them (57.4%). Amid yet another season of incredibly consistent production, Kucherov is reinforcing his status as one of hockey's brightest offensive stars.

9.   Cale Makar, D, Colorado Avalanche

Makar has once again delivered elite output from the blue line, racking up 55 points (15 goals, 40 assists) through 49 games. He has recorded points in 75.5% of his games, while adding at least one assist in an impressive 63.3%. While his multi-point rate (26.5%) is lower than some of the forwards on this list, Makar's ability to contribute offensively almost every night gives him the safest fantasy floor among all defencemen leaguewide.

8.   Mikko Rantanen, LW/RW, Dallas Stars

With 63 points (19 goals, 44 assists) in 49 games, Rantanen is enjoying yet another excellent season. Moose has recorded points in 75.5% of his appearances, including assists in 61.2% of those games. While his multi-point games come less frequently than some other elite performers (38.8%), Rantanen's steady production in Dallas' high-octane offence makes him one of the most dependable fantasy cornerstones.

7.   Kyle Connor, LW, Winnipeg Jets

Even by his standards, Connor's stat line looks excellent so far this year, having recorded 38 points (23 goals, 35 assists) in 51 games. KFC has recorded points in 74.5% of his outings and assists in 52.9%, keeping his fantasy value afloat through the ups and downs of the 82-game grind.

6.   Lucas Raymond, RW, Detroit Red Wings

Raymond has produced 56 points (17 goals, 39 assists) in 50 games so far, establishing himself as one of Detroit's most dependable offensive drivers and an elite fantasy option. He has recorded points in 74.5% of his games, with assists in 56.9% and goals in 31.4%. While his multi-point rate (31.4%) is relatively low, Raymond's consistent presence on the scoresheet makes him a high-end fantasy performer.

5.   Leon Draisaitl, C/LW, Edmonton Oilers

Draisaitl has posted 67 points (25 goals, 42 assists) through 49 games, a point total that would already mark a career year for most players around the league. He has recorded points in 76% of his games, goals in 40%, and assists in 56%. With multi-point outings occurring 40% of the time, Draisaitl continues to combine high-end output with remarkable consistency, making him an elite option in all fantasy formats.

4.   Macklin Celebrini, C, San Jose Sharks

Celebrini's sophomore numbers are staggering: 74 points (26 goals, 48 assists) in 50 games. But perhaps even more impressive than those totals is the consistency behind them. Mack has recorded points in 76% of his appearances, multi-point games in 42%, goals in 40%, and assists in a stellar 62% of his outings. On a rebuilding Sharks roster, Celebrini is already delivering star-level fantasy dependability – and the best is yet to come.

3.   Kirill Kaprizov, LW, Minnesota Wild

Kaprizov has produced 62 points (27 goals, 35 assists) in 52 games, continuing to anchor Minnesota's offence. He has recorded points in 73.6% of his games, with goals in 45.3% and assists in 45.3%. While his multi-point rate (30.2%) is lower than some of the league's other elite players, Kaprizov's steady goal-scoring keeps his fantasy floor sky high.

2.   Nathan Mackinnon, C, Colorado Avalanche

MacKinnon has been nothing short of dominant yet again this season, racking up 87 points (38 goals, 49 assists) in just 49 games. That production has come with elite consistency, as he has recorded points in 79.6% of his appearances and multi-point games in 57.1%. MacKinnon has scored a goal in 53% of his games and recorded an assist in 61.2%, making him one of the most dependable fantasy assets in the league.

1.   Connor McDavid, C, Edmonton Oilers

McDavid tops this list with an astounding 85 points (30 goals, 55 assists) through 52 games, continuing to set the standard for offensive excellence. He has recorded points in an incredible 81.1% of his appearances, with multi-point games in over half of those games (50.9%). For fantasy managers, no player combines ceiling and consistency quite like Connor McDavid.
