It’s been a tough ride since the All-Star break. My whole family has been on the IR. First it was the cough, runny nose, sore throat (inner body injury?) and then last night it was a cross between Linda Blair in The Exorcist and the pie-eating story in Stand By Me. It was not good! But as I've said before - if I'm feeling crappy, my picks are at their best...

I don’t know about you but I’ve had just about enough talk about wind chill factors and exposure warnings and temperatures falling below Rod Brind-Amour’s +/- rating. Get some money down on a few games this week and spend your winnings on a car starter. That’s my plan!

Week 3 saw a nice recovery from the disastrous second week. I'm changing the format a little this week. Due to the NHL's laughable injury disclosure policy, identifying who will be out due to an injury has become a crapshoot. Therefore, I won't be including the "Key Injuries" subheading that I had in previous weeks. You guys hang out at Dobberhockey.com so you know all the key injuries anyway. Good luck to us this week.
