Rambling about some hot players, the Halak Attack is Back, and more... *** The Streak is over. Shayne Gostisbehere with points in 15 straight games and that ended Tuesday. Against Cam Ward of all people. They even had him out there for the last two minutes with the goalie pulled in an effort to get [...]
The top 100 goalies to own in fantasy hockey keeper leagues, February edition... These rankings are based on keeper leagues, but how much they can help you this year plays a big part - more so than with skaters. This is because the goaltending position fluctuates so much. One day you're a starter, the [...]
Fantasy Impact: No fantasy impact on the Roman Polak/Nick Spaling trade to San Jose, but the Leafs have a game plan and I'll tell you all about it. First of all, the deal. Toronto trades defenseman Roman Polak and forward Nick Spaling to San Jose for Raffi Torres’ contract, plus a second-round draft [...]
Rambling about Marchessault, Kesler, the Wild; and our awesome new hot/cold player tool... *** I will kick things off with what I believe to be a huge announcement. There is a new prospect atop this month's Top 200 Fantasy Hockey Prospects list - and his spot there is not a 'lark'! Also new this month is the fact that I'm expanding and separating the two lists. Rather than give you the Top 180 forwards and Top 35 defensemen I thought I'd give [...]
Rambling about Andersen vs. Gibson, a Nashville sleeper pick, Johansson on fire and more... *** What we saw last year is being confirmed this season. NHL GM’s are not stupid people. They learn. They adapt. If you want to help your team for the playoffs you need to not only get your guy, but you [...]
