Lucas Main breaks down the latest fantasy information from the Western Conference – the streaks, the slumps, the line combinations and much more.
This week is part two of our look at additions to teams in the West. We’ll cover Nashville, San Jose, Seattle, St. Louis, Vancouver, Vegas and Winnipeg. Last week’s grades were: Anaheim - C Arizona - A Calgary - C+ Chicago - C+ Colorado - B+ Dallas - B Edmonton - C Los Angeles - [...]
Like last season, I will grade each team in the West to see how additions to the rosters have fared to date. Rookies are not included. Anaheim Ducks The Ducks brought in Robert Hagg, Alex Killorn, Radko Gudas and Alex Stalock in free agency. Between Killorn and Gudas, Anaheim added $10.25 million to their books [...]
Inspired by the Mid-Season Guide that just came out, I wanted to see how my pre-season sleeper picks from Dobber’s Pool Guide are doing. I’m curious to see what went right and what went wrong. These are in alphabetical order, as they were in the guide. Ivan Barbashev - Vegas I stated that I thought [...]
The obvious trade pieces leading up to the deadline are impending unrestricted free agents. However, there are also other players that can be sold high, or players who are struggling that might need a fresh start elsewhere. Here are some of the likely trade pieces in the Western Conference. Adam Henrique - Anaheim - (33) [...]
Happy New Year! This week, we are going to look at players in the Western Conference who are seeing top-six (forwards) or top-four (defenders) minutes, evaluating who might see that opportunity end sooner rather than later. The flip side to these players having their ice time reduced is that someone will need to replace them. [...]

This week, we are going to look at some standouts (good or bad) in the Western Conference over the past 30 days (games since November 17) and see if there are some players or goalies who have turned on their production or hit a wall. I’m not going to list players who have duplicated their [...]
This week, I will look at some players in the Western Conference who don’t necessarily stand out as players who hit or block shots, but are quietly above average in one or both of those categories. Some of these skaters might have started slowly and come on lately or vice versa. If you were already [...]
This week, using Frozen Tools Report Generator 3 and a report titled EV Line Production (which is available to Patreon Members), we are going to look at lines at regular strength and see what lines have played the most together, had the best and worst goal differential, and had the best and worst shots for [...]
This week we will look at the top rookies in the West, including a diamond in the rough named Connor Bedard. Surprisingly, there is only one goalie included. I thought Lukas Dostal would be a bit better, but John Gibson has played well enough to hold onto his crease, while Dostal has struggled in his [...]
