Jarkko Ruutu to Anaheim for a sixth. Fantasy significance: zero.   If any trades occur today, analysis will be posted later on tonight.   My guess on Kaberle return: Blake Wheeler, one of Zach Hamill/Joe Colborne, and a prospect.   Jaroslav Halak has been placed on the IR with a hand injury. The Blues [...]

Let's take a closer look at the hottest player in the league over the past calendar month. He had 15 goals and 21 points in that span, more points than the next best Olli Jokinen (17 points) and a whopping six more goals than the next best - a three way tie between Drew Stafford, Ryan Kesler and Curtis Glencross.

Saturday’s NHL Picks – February 19th

Pavelec

Trying to pick six certain winners isn’t as easy as it looks. Quite a few third period letdowns led to only one correct prediction two Saturdays ago.  Caribou didn’t hit .500 so she’s getting sent down as Thunder has been clawing to get back into the action. Only nine games on the schedule this Saturday as a warm up to Hockey Day in the US and the Heritage Classic out at McMahon Stadium on Sunday.  Hope everyone has a safe and happy weekend.
