We’re barely (not even?) a week into the season, and some goaltending situations are shaping up. Apologies if you’re in one of those scoring-only pools, but the bulk of this version of the Ramblings will be focused on goalies. Of course, we’ll start with the news that shook Leafs Nation early Saturday. It’s Ilya Samsonov [...]
Welcome back to The Journey, where we follow hockey prospects and their paths to the NHL, providing fantasy predictions and analysis along the way. Over the next few weeks, we will revisit the 25 players I listed in my Calder article for the Dobber guide to see who opened the season in the NHL and [...]

Husso stopped all 29 shots he faced in the Wings’ 3-0 win over Montreal. Here’s one of those saves. https://twitter.com/BallySportsDET/status/1581094686407593984 The Wings play again today (Saturday), so [...]

The season is officially upon us. There haven’t been a ton of games played as of this writing (Thursday October 13), but I did want to take a moment and touch on a few players. There have been a number of interesting developments, and guys to watch through camp or the first few games. For [...]
Plenty of storylines are emerging very early in the season, including injuries, debuts with new teams, and even a signing. I’ll cover the ones that seem to stand out, at least from a fantasy perspective. One game was all that it took for Patrik Laine to hit injured reserve. The Blue Jackets winger is expected [...]

The more games the better, as I always say! Below I highlight three player props that stood out to me for tonight’s [...]
