Andrew Ladd missed yesterday's game with food poisoning.
Petr Prucha was a healthy scratch last night. He is a bit of a risk for your playoff pool.
Chris Campoli left last night's game with a sore foot.
Matt Schneider missed yesterday's game with an injured elbow. It is not serious and he will not miss any postseason time.
Alexander Semin left last night's contest with a sore foot. No further info has been given.
Martin Havlat left last night's game wearing a sling. He apparently injured his shoulder in the contest.
The line of Crosby/Malkin/Armstrong were reunited last night, but they did not produce.
The 'Canes are out of the playoffs. From Champs to Chumps…
Ryan Smyth was back in the lineup last night and played nearly 23 minutes. He was not a factor on the scoresheet.
Jack Johnson has played three games now and is a minus-3 with zero points. That hurts my experts league as I have now fallen to fourth, with Gus Katsaros of McKeens passing me. It's a four-man race, with just four points seperating 1-4. I can gain one in goals, 1.5 in assists, 1.5 in wins and 1.5 in save %. That's 5.5 I can gain for the win, but at this point I just need the chips to fall my way.
Ryan Whitney was held out of last night's game as a precaution. He has a groin injury which he has been playing through, but the team sat him out last night.
Of all the youth on the Pittsburgh Penguins, the only two players to have played every game this year? Mark Recchi and Sergei Gonchar.
Todd Marchant injured his groin and will be out indefinitely. He had a great playoff last year so it's a shame, but look elsewhere for your dark horse.
Jozef Stumpel will sit out for the rest of the season as he rests his ailing shoulder.
Now Brian Gionta has a foot injury. He left last night's contest after Elias hit him in the skate with a shot. First his groin, which I think is still bothering him, and now this.
Joe Sakic is single handedly keeping the Avs in this thing. He tallied four points to lead the Avs over the Flames 4-3 last night.
Tomas Vanek now has 40 goals and is a plus-42.
The Avs signed Chris Stewart to a three-year entry level deal yesterday. Depending on their cap situation, the power forward could stick next fall. He'll get some AHL duty this year, as Kingston was eliminated by Oshawa.
Kim Johnsson of the Wild missed last night's game with an illness.
