The Benefits of the Underdog

This article, and all of Dobber's articles, can also be found at the Hockey News, ESPN.com and MSN.ca. Originally published April 16 (Dallas has since lost twice).

While the rest of the group in your playoff draft set upon the Buffalo Sabres players like a pack of wolves, did you quietly load your team up with Dallas Stars?

Not a bad strategy.

Martin Erat took part in the morning skate, but will still be a game-time decision for tonight. It is expected that Ramzi Abid will be recalled just in case.  My comrades at THN are reporting that Alexander Semin showed up late for the first meeting for Team Russia and was promptly kicked off the team. The Outside Seven

By |2015-07-24T11:11:02-04:00April 17th, 2007|z-Archives (other articles)|

Four teams this week (Colorado, St. Louis, Columbus, and Edmonton) and the others (Chicago, LA, Phoenix) next week.

Alexandre Picard of the Blue Jackets tore his ACL and MCL on Friday while playing an AHL game. He will undergo surgery and will be on the shelf for much of the summer. His fantasy value had plummetted pretty far anyway.  Francois Beauchemin is probable tonight after losing some teeth and receiving stitches on Sunday after [...]
