Matt Schneider is hoping to heal his wrist by July 1 so he can strengthen it over the summer. It will not need surgery.

Patrick Eaves returned to the lineup yesterday in place of Oleg Saprykin.

Their is speculation in the California media that Scott Niedermayer is playing on a broken foot. We won't know for sure until the Ducks are eliminated, or have won the Cup.

The Bruins are not getting any closer to signing Sergei Zinovjev. He apparently makes $2.5 million in Russia, but has stated his desire to play in the NHL. The Bruins are reluctant to give him that kind of money. In 2008, he will be an unrestricted free agent, so it is possible that if the Bruins cannot sign him, they will trade him for as a little as a draft pick – anything to get something for him before he walks. If he gets traded, there is speculation that there is an interest in reuniting him with his Russian linemate – Alexander Ovechkin. Discuss amongst yourselves.
