Eric Godard's contract with the Flames is a one-way deal for the minimum, so he'll stick with the big club this year.
Dustin Boyd and Andrei Taratyukin hare having solid prospect camps for Calgary so far. One or both should make the team this season.
Columbus GM Scott Howson will sit down with Nik Zherdev and his agent on August 15. The purpose of the meeting is essentially to express his desire to start with a clean slate. The team had apparently attempted a Zherdev for Lupul swap earlier in the summer but Edmonton wouldn't bite.
Columbus reportedly has some mild (stress: mild) interest in Jason Allison.
