The Coyotes have signed Alex Auld. It is reportedly a two-way contract, which means the job is still Aebischer and Tellqvist's. He was considering a deal in Europe, and still might…I guess that may only happen if he takes a shot at an NHL job in camp and loses.
Those of you who did not pick up The Hockey News Ultimate Pool Guide, but would like to see the ad, I stuck it in the DobberHockey Pics section.
Nils Ekman has obviously dropped talks with the Canucks. He has signed a contract with Khimik of the Russian Super League.
Jussi Jokinen's agent is Mark Gandler. This does not bode well for a contract to be signed in time for training camp. Start keeping an eye on this one…
The Coyotes are still $2 million under the cap floor, but with Keith Ballard still to sign they should get over that number fairly easily.
