He's not a Claude Julien player, so he's been traded. The Bruins sent Brandon Bochenski to the Anahiem Ducks for Shane Hnidy and a sixth rounder. This is decent news if you've been stuck with Bochenski on your team, as a fresh start is always nice. He'll either fit in, or he won't. If he does, he could be a 70-point player. But put money on him not fitting in. I don't think he's an NHL player. He made a strong impact on the Bruins last season… so for the short term, he may pop as a Duck.

My THN Fantasy Mailbag is now up.

Sergei Zubov did not make the trip with the stars due to a hand injury. He will miss the next two games.

Ryan Smyth's ankle injury has led the Avs to recall TJ Hensick.

Jonathan Toews injured his knee last night – a suspected MCL strain. Early reports say two to four weeks on the shelf for Toews.

Ben Eager (concussion) will be back riding the bike in a day or two and if all goes well could be in the lineup again in a week to 10 days.

Martin Havlat is hoping to return for Sunday's game. He is doubtful for tomorrow. Jason Williams is also targeting Sunday.

Cam Barker missed yesterday's action because of the flu.

Robert Nilsson will now take his turn on the top line in Edmonton alongside Shawn Horcoff.

Jussi Jokinen will miss two to three weeks with his sprained knee.

The Coyotes have sent Enver Lisin back to the minors.

Ladislav Nagy rewarded his owners (finally) in a big way with three goals and five points last night. He is an old Dobber favorite whom I had given up on over two months ago… but five point games are not very common in today's NHL so this certainly snapped my head back up to attention about him. He is extremely streaky so he will be very productive for the next little while. He has 10 points in his last five games.

Alexander Frolov – who is streakier than Nagy even, in fact he's probably the streakiest player in the NHL – also had five points.

This is what I envisioned for LA back in September. A productive first line led by Kopitar and a productive second line led by Frolov, Nagy and either Handzus or O'Sullivan, with one line or the other stepping up in a big way every game. Nagy and Frolov played with Armstrong last night though.

It is likely that Henrik Zetterberg will be back in the lineup tonight.

Alexander Semin suffered a tailbone injury and left last night's game. It is not considered serious, but will be evaluated today.

Tom Poti left last night's game in the second with an upper body injury. It is also not considered serious and will also be evaluated today.

David Legwand and Ryan Suter are both hoping to be back in the lineup tomorrow for Nashville.

It is possible the Florida will start Vokoun today and then Anderson tomorrow against the Islanders.
