I apologize for the crappy flash ads – I am working with my ad network to make it stop. No, you aren't a winner and no you aren't the 637,222,137th person to see the banner. The ad network tells me it has something to do with Canada's feed. The US visitors aren't seeing the bad ones. At least I haven't seen those stupid smilies…yet…

Toronto media is speculating on a big Anaheim play for Sundin. I don't see it happening because while Burke does to big moves he tends to do them in the summer. He is pretty stubborn about only paying fair market value and is not a big spender at the deadline. But take from it what you will.

Tom Poti will not play tonight.

Rod Brind'Amour is out for the season. He tore his ACL last night. Ironically, yesterday in my keeper league I had a choice between trading him or Stillman with my last trade. I picked Stillman. Hours later, I'm stuck with a guy out for the season and no trades to use to help it. Brind'amour is leading Carolina in scoring right now.

Joe Corvo and Tim Gleason missed last night's contest with the flu. Bret Hedican missed because of a lower body injury.

Casey Borer was recalled by the Canes yesterday. He played 18:49 and saw some PP time with Corvo out. The other prospects that were recalled – Joey Mormina and Tim Conboy – are weak fantasy prospects and proof that the Carolina cupboard is bare. They need their juniors to hurry up and mature, because they have no prospect fantasy-worthy over the age of 20.

Jared Boll's bronchitis will keep him out of the Columbus lineup tonight.

Pascal Leclaire has the flu and may not start tonight.

Paul Stastny will not test out his groin until Saturday. Best case scenario will see him return after that, but I would doubt it. My guess is another week.

Ryan Smyth was back in the lineup after missing six weeks with a fractured ankle. He played 19:29

Jason Williams (sports hernia) is shooting to return to the Chicago lineup Sunday.

The Ducks are trying Ryan Carter in Weight's spot between Bertuzzi and Selanne. Weight will be out for a few more days with a shoulder injury.

Bryan Berard had a three-point game last night – but it was against the Leafs, so don't get too excited. See how he does next game before deciding if this was a mirage or not.

The Flyers recalled Ryan Parent because Hatcher is out with a knee injury. He did not get into last night's game though.

The Pens recalled Tyler Kennedy yesterday.

Erik Christensen missed last night's contest with an undisclosed injury.

Kris Beech suffered a wrist injury and will have X-rays today.

Sidney Crosby participated in the game-day skate. The Pens are still brushing this stuff off, but it has been four weeks and I still think he will beat the 6-8 weeks projection.

Dominik Hasek's hip injury will likely keep him out of the next three games at least.
