Kyle Okposo will make his NHL debut on Tuesday for the Isles. He is ranked 13th on my fantasy prospects list.

Marian Hossa is "100 percent" and will play today. He practiced with Staal and Dupuis.

David Legwand is targeting a Thursday or Saturday return from his bruised foot.

Vinny Prospal has just five points in nine games as a Flyer. Hopefully he can hang in there and reach the 70-point mark so you can more easily trade him in the summer. Because he must go – with my "every other year" theory, Prospal will slip back next season.

Nik Antropov left last night's game in the first period after suffering a knee injury.

Mark Bell was back in the lineup for the Leafs, playing 12 minutes.

Alex Steen has nine points in his last eight games.

Miroslav Satan has just two points in his last 11 games. The summer – and unrestricted free agency – can't come soon enough for Miro's fantasy owners. On a different team, he still has 65-point upside.

Jozef Stumpel has been ready to return to the Florida lineup for a couple of days now, and should finally make his appearance today.

Matt Cullen will miss today's game with concussion-like symptoms. Not a good sign, considering he missed so much time earlier this year for the same thing.

Dominik Hasek will get the start today. Jimmy Howard has been sent down.

Ryan Shannon was a healthy scratch last night for the Canucks – as I said last week, as soon as he stops producing, he will be a scratch. The small players need to keep producing to stay in the lineup. You will see several hot/cold streaks from Shannon over the next 18 months before he either makes it – or is a bust. Atlanta's Brett Sterling is another example. High risk/reward. On one hand, you could have a Stevie Sullivan. On the other hand, you could have a Simon Gamache. Luck plays a big role in this, too.

It looks like Martin Gerber will get to 30 wins after all. I had been preaching since the end of October that neither Ottawa goalie will reach that mark, but Gerber is at 27 wins and is getting every start now. I dropped Emery in the Expert League (it's desperation time – I'm up to eighth and would like to sneak up to seventh and catch TSN's Scott Cullen for seventh, but it's a long shot).

Expert League moves I made over the last couple of days – dropped Anderson, Mason, Emery, picked up Auld, Stumpel and Sekera. I'm behind on my max games in all positions, but can make the most headway offensively so I'm shifting my focus.

Mike Smith's TB numbers: 3-5-0, 2.39, .910. He is a decent fantasy option for next year – give him 32-34 wins and similar GAA and SV% next campaign.

Benoit Pouliot played just 6:22 last night.

If you are a company interested in some great cheap advertising, I have two opportunities for you. One is a 30-second spot on Dobber Nation, our radio show. Another is – I need two more prizes for the upcoming DobberHockey playoff pool. See? Very low cost – but will reach the eyes and ears of THOUSANDS. Email me at dobber(at) dobberhockey.com for details.
