Both Ed Jovanovski and Martin Hanzal will be back in the lineup tonight.
Tim Connolly will undergo hip surgery to remove bone spurs. He is done for the season.
Barry Trotz has had about enough of Mason and Ellis and so the team recalled Pekka Rinne. Rinne leads the AHL in wins this season and has solid numbers besides that. He will be in the NHL next year (one-way contract) and will probably steal the starting job. Give Rinne a whirl in your roto league, the job is his for the taking.
The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that Denis Savard wants Khabibulin to start all eight remaining games.
Peter Forsberg (groin) will be out today. Paul Stastny (flu) will play. Probably.
Kyle Okposo scored and added an assist last night – his first NHL points. He is obviously getting the opportunity so I recommend picking him up in your roto league. He is ranked 13th on my Fantasy Prospects List.
Scott Gomez crashed shoulder first into the boards last night, but apparently hurt his ankle when he tripped. Last night he mentioned his ankle… but this morning the team is calling it an "upper body injury". He is on painkillers and had X-Rays, so it doesn't sound like he'll be back next game.
Paul Mara, who broke bones under his right eye last month, skated with a mask and is closer to playing.
Pascal Leclaire is still affected by concussion symptoms and as such is still a week away from returning.
Pascal Dupuis has assists in four straight games and has seven in that span. He is playing with Jordan Staal and Marian Hossa so he makes an excellent short term pick up. However, his wife is due any day now with their baby, so he may disappear on you for a game.
Sidney Crosby has officially been ruled out for tonight's game. We will know later today if he can play Monday.

This is great – Jarkko Ruutu dribbling the puck halfway down the ice and setting up Talbot beautifully:
