According to the Denver Post, Patrick Roy will not coach the Avs next year. He wants to coach his two sons in the coming season in the QMJHL and will consider the NHL after that.

Lehtinen and Barnes will be out for Game 5 on Saturday afternoon.

Dallas rearguard Mark Fistric has mono. Everyone had figured he had been a healthy scratch, but today's announcement clarified things.

Lars Jonsson has signed to play in Sweden for next season. His shot at a Flyers roster spot is over. I don't think he was ever really given a chance, as Philly is quite deep in that position and always have been.
Interested in Pavel Vorobiev coming back to Chicago next year? Won't happen. He signed to play with Omsk. Although, with no transfer agreement the Hawks can steal him back here Evgeni Malkin style. Same goes with Robert Esche. Signing in the RSL, while it does mean something …it doesn't seem to be 100% binding.

Bobby Ryan has 13 points in 11 AHL playoff games to lead Portland in that category.

After going pointless in six games in the first round of the AHL playoffs, Gilbert Brule picked up five points in the seven-game second round.
