Some former NHLers who have signed to and will continue to play in Europe: Artem Chubarov (RSL), Ville Nieminen (Finland), Dmitri Yushkevich (RSL).

Chris Chelios missed last night's contest with a leg injury.

Despite a fantastic postseason performance by Brenden Morrow, last night was a very weak game: just one shot on goal and he was a minus-3.

The AHL situation: Portland (Anaheim's farm team) is up 2-1 in the series over Wilkes-Barre (Pittsburgh's farm team). Bobby Ryan has eight goals and 15 points in 12 playoff games. Chicago (Atlanta's farm team) is up 2-0 in the series over Toronto (Toronto's farm team). The two winners will play each other for the Calder Cup. Krog has 24 points in 15 games. How he can constantly lead the league by a wide margin, but not be a scorer in the NHL, is beyond me.

Memorial Cup situation: Spokane (featuring Drayson Bowman, Carolina prospect – ranked 54 on Fantasy Prospects List), has two wins and thus have clinched a berth in the semi-final. Gatineau is 0-2 and needs to win tonight, plus win a tie-breaker Thursday, to clinch a berth. Kitchener and Belleville have one win and one loss each. I'll be at the GAT-SPO game tonight.

Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final is set for Saturday night. Game 7 is June 7, if it gets that far.

Then it’s onto news including coverage of the postponed CGY/LAK game and defensive injuries piling up in MIN and putting some strain on Gustavsson’s performance. Injuries and outjuries include a pair of goalies returning to their teams in Ingram and Shesterkin, as well as how Monahan’s wrist injury opens the door for big minutes for Fantilli. Finally, the pair touch on Voronkov and PLD’s hot streaks, and discuss John Carlson’s rollercoaster in light of Chychrun’s production.

Keeping Karlsson: Tuch Hunch

On this edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast mega-show, Elan and Brian tour every team, ranking a slate of the least bad goalies, noticing the wind in some Red Wings’ and Stars’ sails, dangling snoozer status above a pair of commonly rostered power-play quarterbacks, and rushing or strolling, accordingly, to some skaters on the up and up.
