The Rangers Sign Wade Redden

2008-07-02
The Rangers signed Wade Redden to a six-year, $39 million contract.
Redden will man the top power play with Wade Redden at the expense of Dan Girardi. He finally got a healthy season in last year, now if he could just combine his health with his production…he'll get back to 45 points, but this number could be 55 if the Rangers re-sign Jaromir Jagr or else replace his offense.
Redden is a "buy": 41 to 48 points if the Rangers sign nobody, 51 to 58 points if they bring someone in.
