The Ducks signed a pair of minor leaguers yesterday: former Oilers farmhand Troy Bodie and former Flame Ryan Donally.
The Rangers have re-signed Hugh Jessiman, likely to a two-way contract.
Daniel Carcillo has signed a two-year deal with Phoenix. Expect pretty much double the points and half the PIMs next year, with all the changes the 'Yotes have made and their expectations of him.
The Flyers have signed their 2007 second rounder Kevin Marshall to a three-year entry-level deal. His future value would be in PIMs.
The Sharks made a few signings. Their first round pick in 2002 – and 300 on my FP List – Mike Morris signed a one-year deal. Also, goalie Tyson Sexsmith signed an entry-level contract and German goalie Timo Pielmeier (the Sharks are known for drafting the German players). They also re-signed Riley Armstrong.
Interesting story on a cursed wall on the side of the St. Pete Times Forum.
