Boston Bruins Acquire Mark Recchi

The Boston Bruins have acquired Mark Recchi and a second rounder from the Tampa Bay Lightning for Matt Lashoff and Martins Karsums
The Bruins get: an experienced veteran who is having a good season. He doesn't figure into the top six, but he is a great depth guy to have.
The Lightning get: a top offensive defenseman prospect in Lashoff (ranked 192 on my fantasy prospects list). Karsums is a promising offensive forward ranked 105 on my prospects list. The Lightning had one decent prospect forward (from a fantasy standpoint) last summer. Now they have several. They are doing well to restock the shelves.
Fantasy players impacted: Lashoff will probably play in the NHL going forward. This may spell the end for Cory Murphy. If Lashoff does well, then he makes a great dark horse for next season.
Recchi is on pace for 58 points, but in Boston he will probably slip a little to 53 or 54. He won't see the PP time.
Karsums has an excellent shot at making an NHL roster in the fall. That wasn't the case in Boston. He deserves a look in your league now.
