Patric Hornqvist has a goal in eight straight AHL contests. He also has three assists in that span. If he keeps up his hot play, he'll be a lock for the Preds in the fall. He still looks good for 70 points some day.  Kovalchuk left last night's game early with an upper body injury. [...]

The two hottest teams in the league right now are the Pittsburgh Penguins (9-1-0) and Carolina Hurricanes (8-2-1). No one should be all that surprised with the Pens hot streak; they have two of the top players in the game on their payroll. I didn’t expect to see Carolina this hot down the stretch.

Steve Mason is doubtful tonight due to a cold.  NYR line combos in practice, per the Blue Notes blog : Gomez, with Avery and Zherdev; Drury, with Dubinsky and Voros; Koprikoski with Naslund and Callahan. Antropov did not skate (he was "banged up"). I'm sure he would replace Voros.  Daniel Briere will return to the [...]

Audit Your Keeper Team – March Edition

 Audit

Welcome once again to “An Expert’s Audit”. This audit will be posted here as well as on my fantasy hockey blog at Hockey Analysis . During the season I do weekly reviews of teams for people who email in to me for a look-see, they’re less indepth but just as much fun. Dobber audits will continue to appear here monthly and if you’re interested in having your keeper team “worked over” then you can begin by emailing Dobber about it BEFORE March 19th.

This is the final month where not only does a lucky entrant get his or her team audited, but he or she also receives a FREE book courtesy of Firefly Books . The winner will receive either "Shooting From the Lip " or "Hockey Now! "

Prospect List is now updated - funny seeing people comment on it earlier today when it wasn't yet updated - don't read the ramblings?  I'm sure you have heard by now, Alexander Radulov's KHL team has been eliminated from the postseason and the Preds haven't ruled out bring him back. According to the Tennessean, they [...]

Hey guys. A quick late note. Don't forget about DobberBaseball as we approach the end of the hockey season. Especially if your favorite team is out of it, give fantasy baseball a try to give you that year-round fix. If you join a league and want the edge, the guide is only $3.99 for the next five days before it [...]

Answer Me This Riddle Three…

 lehtonen

Over the weekend a series of games presented themselves to me as tightly wrapped enigmas that ultimately cast me into a black hole of the unknown. But it’s my fault; I seem to be leaning more towards trends and patterns right now when it comes to my goalie analysis. So three different riddles prodded my mind and as I poked around for answers, it only seemed fitting to surmise my thoughts and discuss them all of Dobber Nation.
