While you surf the ‘net, why not listen to some fantasy hockey talk – Andrew Walker talks to Mikael Backlund, Dan Murphy and Matt Bugg on Dobber Nation

Some minor re-signings – Nate Thompson by the Isles, Matt Smaby by the Lightning, and Roman Polak by the Blues. No fantasy impact.

With Hossa out, I wonder if Makarov will get a longer look in camp now? Or will it be Beach or Aliu? Just a tiny window of opportunity, but the real stars shine through it regardless. I’m going to enjoy watching the goings on in Chicago’s camp.

The Dispatch is reporting that O.K. Tollefsen will sign with the Flyers this week if he passes a physical. That would spell the end of Danny Syvret becoming a regular.

Canes Now is reporting that Jim Rutherford has said that the acquisition of Aaron Ward means that Dennis Seidenberg is out of the picture now in terms of being re-signed.

Rutherford on Anton Babchuk: "We've moved on from him," said Rutherford. "He's either going to get traded or I guess his other option is to play in Russia." Rutherford says that the Canes offered Babchuk $1 million and he wanted more. He will not be back with the team. A new team would help his fantasy value…but there is a big KHL risk here.

Rutherford also announced that the team will buy out Frank Kaberle’s contract next week.

Countdown until the best damn fantasy hockey resource is released: SIX days.
