Angus here - working away on my contributions for the 2010-11 DobberHockey Fantasy Guide. Released August 1st - get excited! This thing gets bigger and better each year.   Saw this interesting quote from last year's guide: "Now that he is back to having a stable role with a team, Jussi Jokinen will rebound [...]

I first mentioned the concept of the “it factor” way back in December of 2007. I saw something special in New Jersey winger Zach Parise, who was on his way to scoring 32 goals that season. Not only did they find a perfect workhorse for Manitoba, they signed him for cheap from a Division rival. Terrible management by the Avs to let him walk for zero [...]

I am going to be on the TEAM 1040 in Vancouver tomorrow morning (around 9:30am PST) with Iain McLetchie to talk fantasy hockey. Any players/teams/topics you want me to cover?   Defensive prospect Ivan Vishnevskiy will have a great shot at cracking Chicago's roster this fall, especially if Hjalmarsson's offer sheet isn't matched. Chicago [...]
