A tough decision can be made easier with these charts showing you the best five and worst five schedules for upcoming seven-day periods. Some of you used them last year but for the benefit of new readers here is a refresher. The number next to the team indicates the ‘multiplier’ to use on a player’s point-per-game pace to give you an idea how many points to expect for that week.

It seems like forever ago that I brought up the Lightning's current 12 game home stand, but they're actually only three game into it, boasting a 3-0 record, and have only given up one goal so far. Friday is another Southeast showdown with the Caps, but then they have three winnable games against St.Louis, Buffalo and Carolina, before facing the Flyers and Wings. As a Wings' fan, I can't wait for that last one.

As if weren't doing this already because of their recent struggles, stay away from any Thrashers over the next while. They only play seven games in the next 21 days, five of which are on the road. The Ducks, Rangers, Sens, Lightning and Bruins all play only eight over that span.

On the flip side, if you're someone who is pumped about all of the returning Wings, they have a league high 11 games over the next 21 days. The lottery duo of Edmonton and Long Island also play 11 games over that span.

The big home stretches to take note of are obviously the Lightning, as well as Nashville (seven of their next nine at home), Vancouver (seven of their next ten) and the smoking hot Flames (also seven of their next nine).
