The Coyotes get: An injury-prone goaltender who seems to be on the decline, but do we really know for certain, given his recent injury troubles? Behind a very defensive system, and if fully healthy, he could be the Mike Smith of three years ago. The ‘Yotes certainly hope so!
Fantasy Players Impacted: Smith goes from fantasy worthless to fantasy friendly. He is very draftable now. The thing is, so is Jason LaBarbera, who becomes the starter if and when Smith gets hurt. Ideal situation for LaBarbera.
