Wolski to the Panthers

Fantasy Impact: The Florida Panthers have acquired winger Wojtek Wolski from New York in exchange for a 2013 3rd round draft pick, and prospect Michael Vernace.
The Panthers Get: A highly skilled winger who has struggled for the past few seasons. Wolski is a free agent this summer, and Florida is unlikely to re-sign him unless he plays really well down the stretch. He's one of the best shootout players in the league, and could have a big impact if he helps the Panthers pick up a point or two as they try and stay in the Eastern Conference playoff mix. It's good to see Florida spending some money.
The Rangers Get: Cap space. Carl Hagelin and John Mitchell both jumped ahead of Wolski on thedepth chart.
Fantasy Players Impacted: This is a great opportunity to get more ice time for Wolski, obviously. He played on Florida's third line with Shawn Matthias and Mike Santorelli on Saturday against Carolina. Someone loses out in Florida (at least in the short term), but I'm not sure who it is right now.
