Glad to welcome back the Roto PDF after a month hiatus. The shortened season has brought many surprises and the list will reflect it. As such, it is never too early to start thinking about the looming trade deadline. While current win now value is just as crucial to keeper leagues as it is to one year leagues, The Top 100 attempts to keep emotions at bay. While it is easy to be swayed by the likes of Thomas Vanek and Patrick Marleau, it is your responsibility to keep things in check.
Accompanying this edition is the next chapter of Doran Libin’s quest from rebuild to dynasty. In my opinion, a true rebuild is one of the hardest feats to accomplish in fantasy hockey. Too many poolies try, and fail, at such attempts. While smaller leagues may see a nice turnaround within two seasons, expect to sit out for three to five campaigns in dynasty leagues that feature up to 30 full roster clubs. Libin’s piece "Taking Chances" speaks to the latter part of that spectrum as we delve into his playbook of trades & strategies.
In addition, the featured player profiles this month are brought to you by members of the United Hockey League (UHL), a 24-team full roster rotisserie league showcasing a major dose of Dobberites.
Finally, since the season started, several fresh faces have joined the ranks via Dobber Sports. DobberBaseball added a handful of new talent, much like DobberHockey and DobberProspects. An announcement will surely recap all of the recent changes.
