Dobber presents to you his Top 50 RW to draft in your roto league. (Updated 9-19-2014)

You’ve seen these lists from several sources around the Internet. Now it’s time for you to get your hands on the list that you’ve been waiting for – mine! I say this because my fantasy hockey player lists made their debut on the Internet 12 years ago, before there was even a DobberHockey site (The Hockey News posted the lists back then). As a result of this (relatively speaking) lengthy history, fantasy owners have come to rely on my projections. And with the help of Fantasy Hockey Geek, I truly believe that these lists are as accurate as you’ll find anywhere. Bold claim?

– Ovechkin is actually first overall in this format. His dominance when it comes to goals, shots on goal, power-play points and hits makes him easily the first overall pick in your draft.

– Weirdest name I see that just missed the list – Ryane Clowe. Why is he so high? His projection is fair at 12 goals and 36 points in 65 games. So why? Well, for one he’s dual position. Secondly, he’ll do well in both PPP and HITS. Another weird one at 51 is Tommy Wingels, but the guy is a hits machine and his offense should improve slightly as well.

– Neal somehow managed to stay in the Top 10 on the PIM side because of the expected amount of shots on goal. Of his 59 projected points (30 goals), 24 of them will come on the power play. His stats across the board still make him a very valuable roto player to own despite the expected decline in offense.

– Vrbata? Twenty-first? Really? Well, I have him pencilled in for 34 goals and 63 points – that’s fifth among RW for goals. He also will have a high shot count and PPP. He’s a guy who will slip a lot further than this and would be a steal in the ninth or 10th round.

– Biggest names just off the list – Jiri Hudler, Loui Eriksson and Vladimir Tarasenko.
