Here are your top Draft Kings picks for the Weekend Contests
Top Budget Plays
Centers
Matt Stajan $2,900 –This is ugly because no one knows the time of the game but Sunday will have at least one game on the slate and possibly two. Stay tuned there. Stajan will still be a good value for our weekend schedule because of his stagnant price and decent ice time. He gets a couple points or maybe three and that is pretty good value. It will be tough sledding in Anaheim but Stajan has had some success there in his career.
Wingers
Brandon Prust $2,600 –With risks galore, Prust had a very solid Game 4 and though the refs may be targeting him allegedly, the winger responded with one of his best games of the playoffs. That is what makes it fun about the second season, You never know where the production may come from. Those bottom-six players sometimes can really surprise you. He will not want his season to end at home. Prust is just one of those types of players.
Defensemen
Alexei Emelin $2,800– The values at $3,000 or under just dwindle honestly at this point in the playoffs. Actual offense is probably rare, but a few blocked shots and maybe a shot or two on net is about the best one can expect here. It is very slim pickings, as we said, but Emelin is at least at home and that has to count for something. Obviously, he is cheap and that will allow you to spend in other places.
Centers
Ryan Getzlaf $8,700–You look at the frenetic pace of this series and the top line of Anaheim will keep getting their chances, as Calgary really does not have much of an answer unless Getzlaf and company stops themselves. The one thing everyone has noticed is that Getzlaf and Corey Perry are leaving chances galore for the defensemen that play with them as well. Playing in Anaheim will make the entire line a good stack idea in cash games at the very least.
Wingers
Corey Perry $8,900 –There I have said it. Perry is just an annoying S.O.B to play against, and he has a nose for the net like few power forwards I have seen in the past decade or two. Anaheim's power play will be intriguing to see back in California. That luxury of the last line change makes a huge difference in how Perry is double shifted, and if necessary he could see 21 or 22 minutes in regulation.
Defensemen
P.K. Subban $7,600 –We finally saw the offensive Subban that should have showed up from Game 1 of this series. Execution is king ladies and gentlemen! All the scoring chances do not mean a hill of beans in DFS if they do not lead to points. Montreal must keep clicking on special teams because Tampa Bay is vulnerable on the penalty kill, and so is Ben Bishop at times. It may just be worth it for Subban to shoot from all angles.
Goalie
Carey Price $8,600 –This is too easy. Price is seriously cheaper than Bishop, and I am not even kidding. Though he was not outstanding in net during Game 4, Price got a win against Tampa Bay and that is important for confidence boosting. The key for Montreal will be to plug up that penalty kill which has been torched a bit over the last few games. Too many chances created have caused problems even though Tampa's shot generation has been lacking. Tampa will try to end this. Expect a much better effort from them and Price.
