Jack Eichel Turns Pro/Sabres Sign O’Reilly’s Brother

Fantasy Impact: Jack Eichel has elected to turn pro, signing an entry-level contract with the Buffalo Sabres.
The Sabres get: an immediate No.1 center. Sure, Ryan O’Reilly will be the top center to start the year. And he may even be top center in name. But Eichel is already Buffalo’s best player. And he’ll lead this team in scoring. Mark it!
Look for a possible buyout of McGinn or Legwand, and Reinhart will go back to junior. Cal O’Reilly will go to the press box and/or be the 13th forward. He’ll sub in for any injury. He’s certainly capable of that role, as he was once leading Nashville in scoring before breaking his leg back in 2010.
Eichel will put Matt Moulson back on the map. Moulson thrived with John Tavares, but didn’t really thrive with anyone else. Well, Eichel is in the Tavares category and this will almost certainly be a combo. Moulson owners can rejoice, as he just went from 45 points to possibly 60.
