Hot forwards
Mathieu Perreault – Mark Scheifele – Blake Wheeler (Winnipeg)
Wheeler, the team captain, is a blazing inferno recently, potting two goals and eight assists for 10 points in his last seven games. The consistent right winger now has 22 goals and 44 assists for 66 points in 76 games. He is currently on pace to record 70 points for the second consecutive season. With four goals and 14 assists for 18 points in his last 15 games, Scheifele is having a career-year for the Jets. The dynamic center already has 29 goals and 47 assists for 76 points in only 73 games; he is currently on pace for approximately 85 points, which is considered extraordinary in today's NHL. Their linemate Perreault is also en feu, recording 10 points, including four goals, in his last six matches. The Band-Aid boy has a respectable 11 goals and 27 helpers for 38 points in 59 games for Winnipeg. If he stays healthy (and that's a big IF), he'll be able to repeat his usual offensive production of 40+ points in 65 games.
Overall Production = 180 points
PP Production = 51 points
Johnny Gaudreau – Sean Monahan – Micheal Ferland (Calgary)
Monahan is definitely en fuego for the surging Flames, recording 10 points in his last five games. The pivot now has 26 goals and 30 assists for 56 points in 76 games. The past two seasons, the youngster scored over 60 points for the goal-starving Flames and he is on pace to hit exactly 60 points playing alongside Johnny Hockey. Gaudreau has two goals and seven assists for nine points in his last five games. With 17 goals and 41 assists for 58 points in 66 games, Gaudreau is on pace for a solid 65-point campaign, but he is still far from repeating last season's 78-point production. Against all odds, Ferland, the hitting machine, is sticking with them and has three points in his last three games. While Ferland has an impressive 142 hits, he only has 15 goals and nine helpers for 24 points this year. If your league compiles hits, he makes a solid waiver-wire pickup for the playoffs in deep leagues.

PP Production = 35 points
Jeff Skinner – Derek Ryan – Lee Stempniak (Carolina)
Still hoping for a playoff spot, the Hurricanes is counting on this line to provide the offensive load. The unknown Ryan has four assists in his last four games for a total of 11 goals and 15 assists for 26 points in 59 games. Not a candidate for the Calder Trophy because he is 30 years of age and played several seasons in Austria and Sweden, he is nonetheless playing his first full NHL season! The world-traveler Stempniak, is somewhat hot recently, potting two goals and six assists for eight points in his last nine games. The consistent right winger now has 14 goals and 23 assists for 37 points in 74 games. He is currently on pace to record 40 points for the second consecutive season. With 11 goals and five assists for 16 points in his last 15 games, Skinner is having a very solid season for the Hurricanes. Dynamic duo
Alexander Edler – Troy Stecher (Vancouver)
Almost unknown to most hockey fans, the rookie Stecher is enjoying a very solid season in 2016-17, recording three points in his last four games with Vancouver. The diminutive rearguard now has a very respectable three goals and 21 assists for 24 points in 65 games for the lowly Canucks. Cold as ice line
Mikkel Boedker – Logan Couture – Joel Ward (San Jose)
With six straight losses, the San Jose Sharks are slumping badly on offense. One of the worst free agent signings of the offseason, Boedker is struggling to find his groove and he has been held scoreless over the last 10 contests. With a putrid nine goals and 13 assists for 22 points in 74 games, the former Sharks winger is really not comfortable with his new surroundings as he recorded 51 points last season. With no point in his last four games, the skilled Couture is having a solid rebound season nonetheless. After scoring only 26 points in 51 games in 2015-16, the pivot has 25 goals and 27 assists for 52 points in 73 games. He took a puck to the month last game so he's out indefinitely now. The veteran Ward is ice cold with zero points and a minus-6 rating in his last six games. After recording 24, 19 and 21 goals over the last three years, he only has eight goals and 19 assists for 27 points in 73 games with the Sharks.

Cold as ice duo
Dion Phaneuf – Cody Ceci (Ottawa)
After a very good sophomore season during which he recorded 10 and 16 assists for 26 points in 75 games in 2015-16, Ceci is struggling mightily this season, especially after being held off the scoresheet in eight of the last nine games. Overall, he has only two goals and 12 assists for 14 points 74 games for Ottawa when most experts thought he would reach the 30-point mark. He has lost almost all of his power-play time to Chris Wideman, so his value has dropped dramatically in most fantasy formats. His partner is the veteran Phaneuf, who has only one assist in his last nine games. While he has slowed down recently, Dion Neon is having a solid season so far and he is one goal shy of 10 for the first time in five years. In 74 games, the 31-year-old defenseman has only nine goals and 21 assists for 30 points. He has recorded more than half his points (16) on the power play, become somewhat of a specialist.
