The Wild West – Potential 100 Hit/100 Block Club Members
Grant Campbell
2025-12-29
This week, we are going to take a quick look at skaters who are on pace to reach 100 hits AND 100 blocks, which I term the 100/100 Club.
In 2024-25, 38 skaters accomplished this feat, with only two of them being forwards (Noel Acciari, 180 hits/100 blocks and Brandon Tanev, 168/105). Blocks are the much more difficult stat to get, and much more common for defensemen than forwards. The Eastern Conference had 23 skaters, with the West having just 15.
We will focus solely on the Western Team players for the 2025-26 season. Currently, 25 skaters in the West are on pace to reach 100 hits and blocks.
I'm going to list the skaters in order of most blocks to date and pro-rate where they might end up after 82 games.
Brayden McNabb – Vegas – (36 GP, 63 hits, 92 blocks).
McNabb is a seven-time member of this club, with his most impressive campaign being in 2022-23, where he had 201 hits and 198 blocks. He is on pace for 130-140 hits and 190-200 blocks.
Darnell Nurse – Edmonton – (39 GP, 53/84)
Nurse has been a member in nine of his 10 NHL seasons, with only 2016-17 being the year he played just 44 games (107/53). He is on pace for 105-110 hits and 160-170 blocks.
MacKenzie Weegar – Calgary – (38 GP, 95/81)
Weegar is a five-time member who has dabbled with 200 hits and 200 blocks in 2023-24 (194/200) and 2024-25 (221/192). He is on pace for 190-200 hits and 160-170 blocks.
Adam Larsson – Seattle – (35 GP, 47/78)
Larson has reached 100/100 nine times in his career to date. His career-high for hits is 256 in 2018-19, while with Edmonton. His career-high for blocks is 173 in 2022-23 with Seattle. He is on pace for 105-110 hits and 165-175 blocks.
Mario Ferraro – San Jose – (38 GP, 71/78)
Ferraro is a four-time member of the club and has done it the past four seasons in a row. He is on pace for 145-155 hits and 155-165 blocks.
Jared Spurgeon – Minnesota – (39 GP, 51/75)
Spurgeon is in his 16th NHL season and has never had 100/100. His career-high in hits is 91 in 2018-19, with his high in blocks being 179 in 2022-23. He is on pace for 100-110 hits and 150-155 blocks. The hits are going to be the challenge for him.
Tyler Myers – Vancouver – (37 GP, 45/72)
Myers has reached 100/100 just twice in his prior 16 NHL seasons. He has a career-high of 145 hits and 148 blocks in 2021-22 with Vancouver. He's on pace for 95-105 hits and 145-155 blocks, so he is on the bubble.
Jacob Trouba – Anaheim – (38 GP, 76/69)
Trouba has reached this goal in eight of his previous 12 NHL seasons. His career-high is 218 hits and 196 blocks in 2022-23 while with the NY Rangers. He is on pace for 155-160 hits and 135-145 blocks.
Ty Emberson – Edmonton – (34 GP, 50/60)
Emberson came very close in 2024-25 with 125 hits and 97 blocks in 76 games with Edmonton. He is on pace for about 110 hits and 125-235 blocks, so he has a good chance this year if he can play 75 games or more.
Mikey Anderson – Los Angeles – (37 GP, 40/58)
Anderson had been a member for the past three seasons in a row with highs of 162 hits and 129 blocks. He is a little behind in hits in 2025-26 after 37 games and is on pace for 85-90 hits at this point.
Alexander Petrovic – Dallas – (37 GP, 57/57)
Petrovic has played 305 NHL games over 10 NHL seasons, but has never played more than 66 games in a year. His career-highs are 141 hits and 76 blocks. He is on pace for 115-120 hits and blocks if he can play 75 games or more.
Dylan DeMelo – Winnipeg – (36 GP, 54/57)
DeMelo is a five-time member with highs of 167 hits and 139 blocks in 2023-24 with Winnipeg. He is on pace for 115-125 hits and 120-130 blocks if he plays 75 games or more.
Kaedan Korczak – Vegas – (36 GP, 55/56)
Korczak had never played more than 40 games in a season, but is on pace to play 75 games or more in 2025-26 with 115-125 hits and blocks. He has benefited from the absence of Alex Pietrangelo.
Kevin Bahl – Calgary – (37 GP, 45/52)
Bahl has reached this goal in the two years prior and is right on the bubble in 2025-26. He is on pace for 95-105 hits and 105-115 blocks.
Ilya Lyubushkin – Dallas – (27 GP, 43/52)
Lyubushkin had 176 hits and 168 blocks in 2023-24, split between Anaheim and Toronto for his only season in the club. He has never reached the mark in his other six seasons and might not in 2025-26 if he doesn't play 70 games.
Jamie Oleksiak – Seattle – (33 GP, 47/51)
Oleksiak accomplished the goal back-to-back in 2022-23 and 2023-24 with Seattle, where he had 126/115 and 110/177. He is on pace to be around 100 to 105 in both categories if he can play 70 games.
Neal Pionk – Winnipeg – (32 GP, 68/51)
Pionk has been here three times prior, from 2022-23 through 2024-25 and should get there again in 2025-26. He is on pace for 125-135 hits and 105-110 blocks. He usually provides a little more offense than he has in 2025-26, so his value is usually higher in pools.
Josh Manson – Colorado – (37 GP, 96/50)
In 11 prior NHL seasons, Manson has been here once in 2023-24, where he put up 208 hits and 110 blocks. He is on pace for 195-205 hits and 100-105 blocks in 2025-26 if he can stay healthy.
Radko Gudas – Anaheim – (27 GP, 94/49)
Gudas is a nine-time member with highs of 355 hits in 2021-22 and 178 blocks in 2024-25. He is on pace for 200-225 hits and 110-120 blocks if he can play 65-75 games.
Filip Hronek – Vancouver – (37 GP, 66/50)
The closest Hronek has come was 104/87 in 2023-24 in 81 games. He is on pace for 135-140 hits and 105-110 blocks. He's been a little more aggressive in 2025-26 so far.
Zach Whitecloud – Vegas – (36 GP, 60/46)
Whitecloud reached the goal in both 2023-24 (129/105) and 2024-25 (116/103) and might get there again in 2025-26. He is on pace for 120-125 hits and 95-105 blocks.
Jake Middleton – Minnesota – (32 GP, 46/45)
Middleton reached 100/100 three seasons straight between 2021-22 and 2023-24 before coming just short in 2024-25 (97/157). He is on pace for 95-105 hits and blocks if he can play 70 games or more.
Yan Kuznetsov – Calgary – (24 GP, 38/37)
Kuznetsov is an under-the-radar rookie who, if he played 82 games, would be on pace for 125 hits and blocks. He has missed 13 games in 2025-26, so he could play 65 games if he dresses each night. He has an outside chance for 100/100 this year if so. He's averaging over 20 minutes per night, so it looks like a solid addition to the back end in Calgary.
For anyone in a fantasy pool that includes hits and blocks, we know how valuable these players are. Any point production is just gravy.
