The hottest lines in Fantasy Hockey for Week Five.

Artem Anisimov – Patrick Kane – Artemi Panarin (Chicago)

If you managed to add Panarin off waivers earlier in the season then you are one happy GM. The kid has been sensational to say the least as he’s currently on a point per game pace with 15 points on the season. Like I had said earlier in October, anyone who plays with Patty Cakes is blessed. Agent 88 is currently tied for the league lead in points with 23 on the season. I really don’t see any reason to believe that Kane can’t win the Art Ross trophy this year other than injury. With Kane playing so insanely well his line mates are destined to have solid seasons. I expect Panarin to slow down but the 65-70 point range is not unrealistic… and for a waiver add that’s money.

Ryan Getzlaf – Patrick Maroon – Corey Perry (Anaheim)

Guess who’s back, back again. Getzlaf and Perry are back, tell a friend. Yes that was an Eminem reference. But seriously it maybe too soon to talk but I think the punishing duo is back. The Ducks have been abysmal to start the season but their goaltending has been spectacular. That being said if this top line can get rolling, the Ducks will soon find themselves where they belong… near the top of the Western Conference. Maroon is add worthy in most formats for the short term or basically for as long as he can stay on this top line.

PP Production = 3 points

Jamie Benn – Tyler Seguin – Patrick Sharp (Dallas)

I’m growing tired of listing these guys. But how can’t I? They are destroying the NHL and I really don’t know if it will ever stop. Seguin is playing like a man possessed and everything seems to be clicking in the Big D. What’s most scary however is that Sharp is starting to find his groove with a point-per-game pace over his last 10 games. Dallas is a fantasy wonderland so enjoy it if you own a piece of this explosive line.

EV Strength Production = 4 points

PP Production = 6 points

Johnny Gaudreau – Jiri Hudler – Sean Monahan (Calgary)

If Calgary hopes to get out of their early season rut than they will need this line to rekindle their explosiveness from last season. The Flames have won three of their last four games and this trio is a big reason for the recent turnaround. I recommend standing PAT if you own either Monahan or Hudler as I feel it’s only a matter of time till they start to wreak havoc on the Western Conference again.

Tyson Barrie – Nick Holden (Colorado)

Who are we kidding? This pairing is all about Barrie. In his past four games Barrie has collected six points and three of those came on the power play. The buy low window is slowly closing on Barrie if it isn’t shut already. The upcoming schedule for Colorado is not too favorable as they have three games on the road this week so perhaps waiting a week is best until trying to acquire Barrie.

EV Production = 3 point

Jay Bouwmeester – Colton Parayko (St. Louis)

Even with Kevin Shattenkirk returning to the lineup, Parayko could still make some noise. I think Alex Pietrangelo will take a huge hit going forward as Parayko could steal some valuable PP time. With 10 points on the season thus far there is no reason to not believe that Parayko can hit 40 points on the season. Only time will tell how Coach Ken Hitchcock plans to utilize Colton going forward. Keep an eye on this situation and Pietrangelo owners should cross their fingers.

Dustin Byfuglien – Tobias Enstrom (Winnipeg)

Remember when Enstrom was actually fantasy relevant? It feels like just yesterday but the 2010-11 NHL season was his last productive year with 51 points on the campaign. Enstrom has four points on the season and that’s the type of pace you could expect going forward. As for Byfuglien, he’s a slight off his usual points pace but that could correct itself in one game. Seems like its status quo for big Buff which is great news for fantasy owners.
