After an uncharacteristically small slate of games for last week's DFS Saturday, we're back to regularly scheduled programming tonight with a hefty 12-game one. With so many teams and players in action, I strongly recommend giving our tools at DFS Central a look. They can help you sift through all these names and single out a few core plays to build around. Of course, I'll add a few of my own down below. Just keep in mind whether you're using our tools, my recommendations below, or a combination of the two – to try and force some correlation into your lineups. Take a look at the top lineups in tournaments on any given night and you will likely be able to see exactly what I mean. With that said, let's get into tonight's 12-game slate. The player prices are from DraftKings but the information and concepts can be applied to any site.

Top-Tier Stack to Pay Up For

I hate to do it because it just feels like you're taking the easy way out but you have to strongly consider starting your lineups tonight with the guys in Edmonton. Over the last four games the top line trio of Connor McDavid ($9,200), Leon Draisaitl ($8,000), and Zach Hyman ($6,600) have accounted for eight goals and twelve assists, which while impressive is almost expected from this group. Also, the matchup against the Canadiens and Jake Allen's sub .900% save percentage is certainly not one to fear, especially at home. I will add there is a fresh face to invite to the party here and he comes with a price tag we will gladly welcome while trying to cram in these big guns. That guy is Evan Bouchard ($3,700) who saw three-quarters of the top group power-play time in Thursday's game as compared to Tyson Barrie. Bouchard has scored three goals on his own over the last four games without that added power-play time so the arrow is still pointing up here. I want to play as much of him as I can before his price climbs up into the $5,000 range which is where it's destined if this role and production sticks.

Mid-Tier Stack to Target

The Canucks came through for us here in this spot of the article last week, so it's worth considering going back to the well with an even better matchup tonight. With the Arizona Coyotes in town having lost seven of their last eight this should be a good spot for Vancouver's top names to get back on the scoresheet after coming off back-to-back one goal losses. Bo Horvat ($7,200) leads the team in goals and is where I'll start my stacks. Joining him at even strength and the power play should be J.T. Miller ($5,600) and from there I'll break my standard full line stack in favor of Elias Pettersson ($7,000) who's been held scoreless in two straight games after a stretch of nine points in six games. If going all the way on Vancouver, consider Quinn Hughes as well at ($5,900).

Cheap Stack to Build Around

Pavel Buchnevich continues to score goals but DraftKings just doesn't seem to care. Buchnevich is up to six goals in his last eight games meanwhile his price tag has actually dropped from ($4,700) to ($4,600) during that span. His linemates tags have decreased as well so we'll look to take advantage of this mysterious trend and fire him up with Robert Thomas (4,200) and Vladimir Tarasenko ($5,000) tonight in Pittsburgh. The matchup isn't the cleanest but only the Anaheim Ducks have allowed more shots on goal than the Penguins this season, perhaps raising the floor a bit on the Blues skaters. If we can get two goals combined from these skaters, we'll be happy given the prices.

Goalies

When it comes to goalies, I like to correlate mine with one of my stacks. However, if you're looking to just pluck a one off, I'd consider Alexandar Georgiev ($7,400) from the Avalanche. The matchup in Boston is a tough one however Georgiev has averaged over 18 DraftKings points per game this season and has the reigning Stanley Cup champions playing in front of him which will always give him a good chance at the six points awarded for a goalie win.
