Welcome back to Puck Picks! Each Thursday, I break down some of my favorite NHL bets, explain the reasoning behind them, and track performance transparently. The goal of this column isn't just to share picks, but to help you recognize why certain spots have value so you can identify them throughout the season. I'll be tracking every pick transparently in this column, logging units won and lost as the year progresses.

In the last article, we went 6-1, for a net of +8.42 units. Overall, that brings the season record to 72–58 for +18.51 units. The average bet return is 7.2%. Let's see if we can keep up the winning tonight! Let's dive into the picks:

Will Cuylle 2+ shots (-235, 2u) and 3+ shots (+132, 0.5u)

Cuylle has seen increased ice time lately and now appears to be skating on the top line alongside Mika Zibanejad. He's averaging six shot attempts per game over his last five contests and has reached both two and three shots on six attempts in each of his previous two games. He draws a matchup against a reeling Toronto team that ranks last in the league in shot suppression. With the increased role and favorable matchup, Cuylle should continue to fire the puck.

Alex Tuch 1+ point (-145, 1.5u)

Tuch has 20 points in his last 21 games and has recorded at least one point in 16 of those contests. He continues to skate alongside Tage Thompson at even strength and remains a major driver of Buffalo's offense. Oddsmakers have consistently priced Tuch's point prop at a discount this season, and this is another opportunity to take advantage.

Mason Marchment 1+ point (-105, 1u)

We're going right back to Marchment, who continues to skate on the top line and top power play unit with Adam Fantilli and Kirill Marchenko. His role remains excellent, and his point prop is still being offered close to even money, which continues to present strong value.

Philadelphia Flyers Team Shots Under 26.5 (-105, 2.5u)

Both Utah and Philadelphia tend to play in low-shooting affairs, but it's the Flyers who have struggled most offensively. Philadelphia has failed to eclipse 25 shots on goal in seven straight games and ranks second-last in shots for per 60 minutes at even strength over their past ten. Utah, meanwhile, ranks fifth in the league in suppressing shots against this season. This sets up as another difficult matchup for Philadelphia to reach 27 shots.

Mikey Eyssimont 2+ shots (-135, 1.1u)

Eyssimont doesn't receive heavy ice time, typically hovering around 10 minutes per game, but he makes the most of his opportunities by consistently firing the puck toward the net. Even with bottom-six deployment, he's averaging 2.6 shots on goal per game over his last five and has cleared this line in five of his last six games. He managed only one shot on goal last game but still generated four shot attempts — with two blocked and one missing the net. That underlying volume is encouraging and supports continued consistency here.

Cole Perfetti 3+ shots (+115, 1u)

Perfetti has been extremely active lately, averaging 4.2 shots per game over his last five contests. He's skating with Adam Lowry and Alex Iafallo at even strength and has been the primary trigger man on that line. While Tampa Bay is typically known for strong defensive play, they rank in the bottom six in shots against at even strength over their past five games. The odds appear to be inflated by Tampa Bay's defensive reputation, making this a solid value play. Even if the finishing isn't there, Perfetti should have plenty of opportunities to get three shots on net.

Zayne Parekh Power Play Point (+675, 0.3u)

📢 advertisement:

With Mackenzie Weegar shipped out to Utah, there is no clear defenseman standing in Zayne Parekh's way for the top power play quarterback role in Calgary. Parekh should see a bump in ice time — particularly on the man advantage — in the Flames' first game without Weegar. The offensive upside is obvious; just take a look at his Dobber Prospects profile here. Calgary's power play has struggled this season, but Parekh's offensive talent could help spark some improvement. At +675, the price is too attractive not to take a small sprinkle against a mediocre Ottawa penalty kill.

Good luck if you're tailing! As always, results will be updated in next Thursday's column for full transparency. Please gamble responsibly and never wager more than you're willing to lose.
