Back to a two-game slate tonight, which is still enough to risk another wager on individual outcomes. For Sunday’s column, I was right that the Rangers and Mike Smith would shine, but my Florida Panthers’ stack sunk my DraftKings bet before either of the other two games even started. I guess I’m grateful to bet [...]
The second round of the NHL Playoffs rolls on today, and the Florida Panthers are on the verge of elimination. Hopefully, for excitement’s sake, the Panthers can make it interesting and extend the series at least one more game. In the west, the Blues and Avalanche are set for game 4, where they will both [...]
No, you don’t have to check your calendar to make sure today is in fact Sunday, because it is. My editor (the amazing Ian Gooding) and I simply decided it would be a good idea to publish the Saturday picks on Sunday this weekend, as today we have three games scheduled compared to the one [...]
I was asked to write a special Sunday DFS column, as it will certainly be the last day of this season with three games, and your loving Dobber editors didn’t want daily bettors to wander around aimlessly. LOL. OK, to be totally fair, this is my sixth article, and my having bet on my own [...]
If Game 2 of the Battle of Alberta is anything like Game 1, you’ll want to take the over and there should be plenty of opportunities for anytime points from a number of players. Out East, the Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers don’t figure to light the lamp as often as their Western counterparts, [...]

Are you all excited? Are you? Because I certainly am. The second round of these playoffs has been underway since yesterday and already it’s making me doubt everything I thought I knew about this sport and this league, and I love it. The Florida Panthers, who’ve been standing atop many fans’ brackets since the postseason [...]
Odds via Bet365 on May 16th, 2022 @ 5:00 PM The Stanley Cup Playoffs present some of the most unexpected moments in all of sports – making betting on the games a much more difficult task than the regular season. But since the first round is over and you now have a pulse on the [...]
We’re down to four matchups for Round 2, and just two games most nights, like tonight. The strategy has to hold but stacking one team to win is crucial. Picking against the grain might be risky, but the reward will only be there for the risk-takers. STACK: No bigger “against the grain” play than the [...]
I went four for six picks last Wednesday, which was a solid day if you ask me. I was one Alex Ovechkin goal and one decent performance by the Stars forwards away to get the sweep. I plan on accomplishing that feat at least twice during the remainder of these playoffs, and what better day [...]
