With the elimination of Minnesota on Thursday, we are left with just a three-game slate for this Saturday. With only six teams in action you may want to consider either taking a stand on one or two teams or if playing multiple lineups, you could always spread it around and try to cover as much [...]
There’s nothing like an elimination game in the Stanley Cup playoffs and Friday will offer three contests where teams will have to win or go home. That also means the spotlight will be on a number of players to deliver clutch performances to keep their seasons alive, or advance to the next round. Here are [...]
The hockey gods blessed us with one last four-game slate before the playoff schedule is whittled down to three games or less per day. Let’s try and take advantage and go out on a high note. All prices are from DraftKings but can be applied to any site. If you want to give the Dobber [...]
Surprised to see me again? Welcome everyone to my new playoff special segment, the long awaited (but not really since they were only announced four days ago) Wednesdays picks by Vlad! Playoff hockey is an important enough part of the year to deserve itself a special treatment like that, so I’m excited for even more [...]
Before I hit the fantasy recommendations, congratulations to the Colorado Avalanche for their first-round sweep. Dominant (21-9 in goals scored) hardly is a strong enough word. Welcome back my beloved readers. For those of you who were heavy hearted about having to wait another five months before getting to read some of my articles again, worry no more. We are back for the playoffs, and you can expect this to be the most fascinating portion of the season. Individual regular season [...]

While I understand rostering players from Nashville, Pittsburgh, and Dallas may seem counterintuitive considering the majority of people [...]
It’s playoff time and I’m taking advantage of these four-game slates while we have them. After the first round, we’re looking at what will most likely be just two-game slates and eventually of course one-game showdowns. I was fortunate enough to start the playoffs on a high note with a $500 third place finish with [...]
The regular season is behind us, and it’s time to shift focus to playoff picks, and yet still maximize winnings in your DFS each night. Basic strategies first, and keeping with my usual scheme of a team to stack, a player to highlight, and a can’t miss (??) goalkeeper. STACK: It’s offense, baby - and [...]
The final Thursday of the regular season is upon us and it presents one of the last opportunities of the year for a slate with more than five games. Using Dobber Hockey’s new DFS subscription service (link below) and this article, let’s try to piece together a lineup that ends the season on a high [...]
