Capped

Welcome back, I hope you’ve all been enjoying the non-stop hockey as much as I have. Who am I kidding, no one is enjoying this as much as I am! While you take a break either before the early start games, or in an intermission, here’s some reading material aimed at getting you to think [...]

We can count the time until hockey starts again in hours now, not days. Hopefully that doesn’t mean you all stop reading about it though. Whether or not there are games being played, the DobberSports crew is always pumping out new fantasy content. On that note, the Top 200 Cap League Skaters was updated just [...]

In the last few weeks I have put out some big topic articles that I’m going to link to again in case you missed them. First there was some deep dive research into salaries and rankings based on historical data relative to draft position – here. Then we shifted gears and went through some implications [...]

This week's Capped updates the salary projections for all of the relevant 2020 UFA and RFAs. **** After last week’s article where I covered some thoughts on how to manage your cap team this offseason with the stagnant salary cap, this week we’re going to stick with that same concept and look over salary projections [...]

I’m going to [...]

As a result of the long pause from any form of NHL or fantasy hockey fix, many armchair GMs are turning to their summer trading in their fantasy leagues to fill the void of sports. Before Covid ended up throwing everything up in the air, I had been in discussion to join another cap league [...]

With Phase Two underway, it’s tough not to be hopeful that we really will see hockey again at some point this summer. That means we get play-in games, and then the playoffs. As a result, there aren’t really too many salary cap points to discuss around the remaining portions of the 2019-2020 season. However, that [...]

Cam said it well in yesterday’s Ramblings, as a white male I don’t have the experience to be able to sympathize with the racial injustices in the United States. However, that doesn’t mean I can’t be an ally, and empathize with those who are being persecuted and living in fear. Take a minute before getting [...]
