The first round of the 2026 NHL Draft is officially in the books, and as always, reality proved quite different from the mock drafts. Some players climbed. Others fell. Several organizations surprised us with their selections, and a few prospects found themselves in dream development situations. Rather than recap all 32 selections individually, here are [...]
The St. Louis Blues have acquired forward Mason McTavish from the Anaheim Ducks for two first-round picks (#15 – Nikita Klepov, #29 – later traded to Vegas with the #117 pick for the #28 pick, which Anaheim used to select Marcus Nordmark) in the 2026 draft. Zellweger is an RFA who needs a new contract, and he will [...]

That means we will be focusing on the Montreal Canadiens, Carolina Hurricanes, Colorado Avalanche, and Las Vegas Golden Knights. As a reminder, for this article we are going to look at these [...]
After trading away Jack Drury, the Colorado Avalanche made another change to the lineup by shipping out winger Valeri Nichushkin to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for a second-, third-, and fifth-round pick across the next three drafts. Nichushkin had 17 goals and 49 assists in 72 games last season. He has four years [...]
