Quarter Ties Notch!

Last week, flipping a coin got five out of 10 right. Which is excellent when you consider that games that go into overtime are tie games. Those five points were enough to match Notch's picks. Burnsy has retired from the contest. Notch was just much for him and once he caught some insight into just how damn good that quarter is - he couldn't hack it.

Here are this week's picks for the NHL games today, the final game of the season.

quarter

We are down to the final three Saturday's. Just three more chances for Burnsy to close the gap on Notch. The flipping of the quarter slipped a little, getting three out of the 11 games and this trooper of a 25-cent piece is slowly losing hope that it will ever beat Burnsy or Notch.

"Quarter Beats Notch"

That's how the headline should have appeared this week, as the flipping of the quarter was enough to top the mighty Notch in last Saturday's games.

In a somewhat related story, Burnsy also topped Notch for the fourth time in five weeks. In fact, if you were to discount the massive lead that Notch built up over the first two weeks (when all the readers had quickly written Burnsy off), Notch would be far behind right now. As it stands, his formerly gaping lead is now pretty slim.
