Lucas Main breaks down the latest fantasy information from the Western Conference – the streaks, the slumps, the line combinations and much more.
This week and next, Brennan Des and I will tier defense and forwards from the East and West. I will start with the West today on defense but just a reminder that these tiers are subjective and meant as a guide to help you for fantasy purposes, not necessarily the level of skill of each [...]
Last year we had some confusion, so just to be clear we will only be listing goalies from the Western Conference below. Last year I didn’t have one goalie in the West who I deemed to be in the 1A Tier and only had one (Juuse Saros) in the 1B tier. These tiers are a [...]
I thought I would look at each team in the West and see what the ceiling was for fantasy for points, goals, shots on goal and hits. There are some teams who top out at 30 goals, 60 points, 200 SOG and 150 hits, while others 60 goals, 150 points, 350 SOG and 325 hits. [...]
Before the 2022-23 season, I attempted to rank the Western Conference teams from one to sixteen and put them in tiers of being contenders, playoff-bound, bubble teams, risers or bottom dwellers. This week we are going to look at some notable players who will be playing in the Western Conference for the first time. We will also list some players who have been added to the same teams in a similar situation in prior years and see how they have done. Some players struggle on a [...]
This week we will look at the final four teams in the West after we reviewed Minnesota, Nashville, San Jose and Seattle last week, Colorado, Dallas, Edmonton and Los Angeles the week before and Anaheim, Arizona, Calgary and Chicago here. Brennan Des is doing the same thing with the Eastern Conference here. Erik Karlsson was [...]
This week we will look at the following four teams in the West after we reviewed Colorado, Dallas, Edmonton and Los Angeles last week and Anaheim, Arizona, Calgary and Chicago the week before. Brennan Des is doing the same thing with the Eastern Conference here. The Core Four are the players from each roster, who [...]
Over the last few seasons, during bubble week I have focused on the format I know and that is a 25-team salary cap ($83.5 million) keeper pool with 27 players on each roster (20 active and seven in reserve, but all salaries count). As it is the off-season, we allow each team to carry 28 [...]
