Lucas Main breaks down the latest fantasy information from the Western Conference – the streaks, the slumps, the line combinations and much more.
This week we are going to focus on an unsustainable stat line that goes hand in hand with production. The one metric I will be focusing on is points per 60 minutes (pts/60). I’m not saying that other metrics like 5 on 5 shooting percentage, PDO, IPP and CF% aren’t important, but I find that [...]
There have only been a few games so far, but ice time and deployment are two factors that can significantly affect a player’s production. I’m going to list a few players who are in potentially reduced roles from what I figured they would be and who I have some concern about their production levels this [...]
With only a day before the puck drops for the 2021-22 regular season, rosters are taking shape and a few surprise cuts have been announced by teams. Some notable rookies sent down to the AHL were Calen Addison - Minnesota, Alex Turcotte - Los Angeles, Josef Korenar - Arizona, David Farrance - Nashville, Pierre-Olivier Joseph [...]

I’ve also listed each player’s best totals over the past three seasons to give us an idea of what [...]
It is a little early but I always like to see what unrestricted free agents are on each team before the start of the season and see if the team will look to keep the player or trade them before the deadline. In addition, it is a huge incentive for the players to dig deep [...]
For the last two years, during bubble week I have focused on the format I know and that is a 26-team salary cap ($81.5 million) keeper pool with 27 players on each roster (20 active and seven in reserve, but all salaries count). As it is the off-season, we allow each team to carry 28 [...]
Continuing from Part 1 In going through each team of the 2021-22 Dobber’s Fantasy Guide, I thought I would focus on the first and second power-play units of each team in the West. We will look at any changes from last season in terms of new players, new coaches and see how the teams and [...]
